The HomeSchool Gazette was conceived of by frustrated HomeSchool parents. We had hoped to find a resource that would direct us to a rich variety of educational and social activities for our own children. Not finding what we needed, we set out to produce our own.

Parents who choose to HomeSchool their children assume an active role in guiding their children’s development as individuals, seeking the best and most appropriate resources for their family, and providing them with an enriching environment.

We hope to help you on this journey of discovery. If you have children, this site was conceived and designed with you in mind. Whether you are looking for an interesting and fun family weekend, the opportunity for your child to participate in group sports and classes with fellow homeschoolers; or classes available to all- whatever your child’s interests may be: music, history, theatre, art, science, the environment, or fun in the park days (to name a few!) -you can find options to choose from in the Gazette.

We are constantly  expanding our listings, and adding features to make your search easier. Eliminate extensive internet searches, wasting your precious time with fruitless jumping from site to site, and clicking from page to page within sites to find the information you want. Learn about events before they happen, not afterwards.

The Gazette keeps you informed. We hope to be the most comprehensive, simplest to use HomeSchool guide to events and activities for families and children in New Jersey. As our audience widens into other locations, we’ll do so as well.
